Perched at an altitude of 1300m, Morgins is part of the huge Franco-Swiss ski area called “Les Portes du Soleil”, and offers 650km of slopes at an average altitude between 900m and 2300m. The resort has 200 ski and chairlifts which are all accessible using one single Skipass. This fabulous international ski area is an ideal destination to discover unspoilt nature in a unique location. And what’s more, at the end of the day you can ski down to the very heart of the resort. Cross-country skiers are not left out, and can enjoy 20km of tracks close to Morgins, including the popular high-altitude track around the lake of Morgins. Other winter activities in the resort include horse-drawn sleigh rides, husky dog-sleigh rides, hang-gliding on skis, snowshoeing (13 trails with a total length of 64km), a natural ice track (floodlit in the evening) or snow go-karting. Night owls will certainly appreciate the party atmosphere in the bars, restaurants and the clubs. There is also a programme of a variety of musical and sports events throughout the season.
